Overall Facelift
We won’t change the core design of the site, but we will improve the overall readability (both site and RSS feed) and give Arsenal Report a little facelift for the 2011/2012 season.
Player Statistics
Every first team player will have his own dedicated page on Arsenal Report, where you can follow his progress throughout the season. Things like pass completion, overall rating, tackles made, minutes played, everything you need to know.
Interactive Pitch 2.0
The Interactive Pitch module will be upgraded to feature more player statistics, and will also be available as an interactive sandbox, for anyone who wants to present formations or tactical overviews on their own blogs.
Player Tweets
There are lots of Arsenal players on Twitter, but these tweets tends to get lost in the noise. We’ll present you with a nifty graphical tweet page that will have all Arsenal-related twitter feeds available.
Toggle Header
For those of you with small screens, mobile devices, iPads, etc…the Arsenal Report header might take up lots of real estate on the site, so there will soon be a toggle button to collapse the header, if you want to.
Illustrate Your Point
To keep a high level of discussion in the comment areas, this feature will let you draw arrows, draw lines and move icons around on a pitch canvas right below the comment form. You can then insert the image into your comment.
Quick Stats Sidebar
Our home page now features a sidebar with some quick interesting
live stats, like highest rated player (according to WhoScored), goals and assists leader boards, etc.
More Authors
This summer we added Manny Keshwani and Matt Bonito to our team, so we’re currently not looking for any more writers.
Statistics Page v2
The stats page will get a facelift and some new features for the 2011-2012 season.
