Fully agree there, in praxis the punishment was 'he can't play for a little bit'. They should have been banned from even talking to agents during the embargo.

He can't even play for Barcelona with their transfer embargo. Rumours that he'll be shipped to Turkey for a 6-month loan. What is the point of a bloody transfer embargo if they can still conduct business?

The FFP punishments have been a joke so far. I believe Man City's restriction on Uefa squad size was also lifted. Once a punishment is handed out for breaching FFP rules, it shouldn't be lifted if the club 'reach the FFP goal/standard'. Completely undermines the whole purpose of the regulations.
