Giroud is the perfect tournament player. If he hits form straight away he'll maintain it throughout.

If France go deep he is an absolute banker for top scorer

Germany went Arsenal way, they always had it in them, The WC was a fluke. One shity penalty and game was killed, France went even deeper. Must note Ozil and KOS were fantastic, and Giroud was gorgeous ofc. Now lets hope France dont fak it up and let Portugal be worst EURO champion after Greece.

Just proves that Ramsey was the most important individual in that Wales setup. Even bigger than Bale for them.

Bale was disappointment on this EURO, other then few runs from the deep that he messed up on the end he didnt do anything. Ramsey was key in penetrating and finding space up front. Once he was gone, they were flat, no penetration at all, donno why Bale didnt played at top he could have at least use the speed to out run defenders, not waste his energy in trying to brake alone vs 2 lines.

world cup was no fluke. Muller was terrible and that cost them + Gomez's injury and Klose being 73 years old. As soon as they involve a decent center forward, they'll conquer the world again.

Not that easy with national teams though...how are they going to get a new striker? They'll have to wait for someone to come of age.

Watching Germany last night was like watching Arsenal for the vast majority of last season.

Mesut trying to make stuff happen but surrounded by shithouses who couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo

No he's not in that range imo. Neither is Pogba. Transfer prices are now mainly dictated by marketing. If Ramsey did all those idiotic dabs and his marketing team got him on a Fifa covers etc. he'd be worth somewhere 75+. David Luiz's transfer was the best example of this.

NO one is in that range. If you speak with that language of reason. Football market is mad and people are crazy how much money throw in it, for some emotional satisfaction. But in the crazy football market Muller and Pogba are 100 mil players. Because there are teams that overpay for most of the players. And recently they are a lot. Fifa made some shity rules and then scrap them, noting will stop this madness soon, because i dont see people getting smarter.

if Duchamp let Giroud stay they would have won it. They didnt gave him one good ball, ok fine one averge ball is not enough. His hand hurts from waving for anyone to pass to him. Ffs France let Portugal be best team in Europe. This is disgraceful, but no lets talk how they were good, and won so they are winners.

2nd, 3rd and 4th place all featured prominent arsenal players. First place has no arsenal representation. Can't say I'm surprised.
