HOW ARSENAL COULD LINE UP WITH AUBA & MKHI???
Arsenal have signed Henrikh Mkhitaryan and are confident of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month, but questions remain over which system manager Arsene Wenger will deploy to get the most out of the pair.
The Frenchman has lined up with a back four for almost the entire duration of his time in north London but switched to a three-man defence after his team’s 3-0 defeat by Crystal Palace in April. Following the change, Arsenal went on to win the FA Cup with a 3-4-3 formation, overcoming Manchester City in the last four and then Chelsea in the final.
Wenger admitted last month that his preference is to play with four at the back. “It is my preferred system," he said after last month’s 6-0 win over BATE Borisov in the Europa League. "But I adjust always what suits the players, the quality of the players, the balance of the team.”
Addition of these two attacking players will give plenty of options for Arsene to play with, though the main area to strengthen remains at the back rather upfront.

It gives Ozil all the freedom he wants to cut inside and play through the middle with Bellerin advancing and occupying the wing on those plays.

Except there is no way in hell Wenger would a) give up so quick on the 3-4-3, and b) ever in his wildest dreams go back to a 4-4-2.

I think the 4-4-2 could also work as a diamond, with Ozil further up, wilshire further back, kolasinac on the LW and Monreal at LB. This does drop xhaka from the lineup but I'd say it's worth a shot.

Ramsey is a starter and the way Xhaka play anyone you place there will be better defensively.

But i doubt on Ramsey-Wishere partnership in the middle.. and Wenger is yet to give up on Xhaka, so most probably either of Ramsey or Wilshere will partner Xhaka in the middle.. Unless a miracle happens (dropping Xhaka) and Maitland-Niles is moved to defensive midfield position...

We should play a 4-2-2-2 formation like Leipzig and have Auba and Laca up front with Ozil and Mkhitaryan behind them.
We need a defensive midfielder after we sold our only defensive midfielder or we could add Maitland-Niles to the mix. He is an upgrade on Xhaka (except maybe passing) but he is young and I don't want him to burn out too soon like the list of Arsenal's "could have been but always got injured).

that's the problem. We have too many people who are just as good as one another, so people will always be upset with the team no matter who gets dropped. Ex: ramsey, xhaka, wilshire
