I've always had a hunch this could happen. I don't think it will, but it would be Wenger-esque now that he has some cash to spend. Problem is he'd be very expensive for an "old" player, and he's unproven in the Premier League. He's also quite slow nowadays, which is the main criticism against Giroud.

The guy is amazing and still top quality. His natural fitness means he'll never really lose his monstrous physicality and he's still faster than Giroud and triple the player he is

EDIT: I CAN'T GIF

On Ibrahimovic:

He's a slow-moving target man spending most games playing with his back to the goal, only to suddenly explode into action and through sheer power force goals left right and centre. Very direct, always attempts a shot at goal or a fancy assist if the smallest opportunity presents itself.

But if Giroud frustrates you, Ibrahimovic is not for you. He does just as many quick flicks, and he lumbers around the pitch for most of the game looking for openings. His ball control and anticipation/reading of the game is fantastic, but at 33 he's not exactly the completely unpredictable world beater he was five years ago.

He's also completely bonkers. Would love to see any of those Stoke twats try to wind him up.

Giroud's flicks isn't the frustrating thing about him, Zlatan would be the perfect Arsenal striker.
