Lee Dixon about Gary Neville's comments on Wenger being naive

On Gary Neville saying Wenger is naive:

I see where Gary's coming from, [but] I don't agree with the word naivety.

On why he thinks Wenger hasn't signed a DM yet:

I think he thinks he can develop someone in [the DM] role. I'm hugely surprised [he hasn't signed a DM]. It suggests to me that for whatever reason he's tried and failed.

On never replacing Vieira:

Well [Man Utd] never replaced Roy Keane either.

On keeping the team together and if that will be enough:

A team that stays together will always be better because they learn each other. Have we improved enough to win the league? We have to be honest and say no.

On what player he would have signed:

I would have gone for Schneiderlin. That would have been my number one target. I'm surprised there hasn't been another signing, a Schneiderlin type. I think he would've been perfect for Arsenal.

On areas that need improvement:

I'm always looking at the defence and thinking 'oh what's going on there?' [...] In the great scheme of things [we'll be fine with our current CBs].

On Giroud:

His goal record is very good...but does he get the big goals in the big games? No.

On Ramsey and Ox:

I'd like to see Ramsey move into the middle a bit more and maybe play Ox down the side. Ramsey to me is not disciplined. He needs to be in that central position.
