Christ they need another striker then. You can't only have Icardi and the rat-tail geezer as your only striking options.

Actually I think they're playing Icardi in the #10 position, they have a weird setup. They mix the 4-3-1-2 with a 3-5-2 as well. When Podolski was there I think he usually played as the left-hand striker but drifted wide.

I have only seen a handful of Inter games last season though.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on with Raheem Sterling? His transfer saga is getting boring now. Where do you think he'll end up?

He's going City.

Sterling to Man City confirmed (apparently). Deal worth £49m (inc. add ons), subject to medical/personal terms.

Ridiculous amount of money for the lad.

A good deal for all parties involved imo. Sterling has great potential and will be worth that price-tag in a few years. He's going to be surrounded by players such as Silva & Agüero whilst having an actual decent manager in Pellegrini looking after him.

If you know any of the transfer fees let me know...I can't keep up. ;)

For Man Utd, I suppose it's Blind at left back, then Carrick/Schneiderlin/Schweinsteiger battle it out for two central positions. Rooney in the #10, Depay on the left wing.

Where players like Mata, Di Maria, Herrera and Fellaini will play, only Van Gaal knows. Maybe push Rooney to lone striker and have either of those players as the #10 behind him? Who else would be striker? Quisling cunt is gone, and they sold their best striker to us last summer (lol).

That's all presuming Van Gaal goes for a 4-2-3-1, which to be fair isn't really his cuppa. But maybe he's finally learned that the Premier League isn't quite ready for exotic shapes yet.

United will probably line up like: De Gea; Darmian, Evans, Rojo, Shaw; Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin; Di Maria, Mata, Depay; Rooney

imo

You think he's going for a 4-2-3-1? Sounds like the best option, and therefore not very Van Gaal. Also, I'd bet he plays Blind at left back over fatso Shaw. Evans is on his way out as well. If I was in charge of Man Utd, I'd get my hands on a striker like Icardi, Griezmann, Cavani or Lacazette and go:

De Gea
Darmian, Jones, Rojo, Blind
Schneiderlin, Herrera
Di Maria, Rooney, Depay
[new striker]

But Van Gaal will end up experimenting again, and end up in 6th place.
