What would he do, though? His role at Man City is to manage the 'Elite Development Squad', i.e the reserves. We just hired Jonker and have plenty of former and current players willing to take up similar roles for us.

He's off to Bayern I've read. Not surprised, he's always been a mercenary in terms of the fact he leaves to better his career, rather than earn a fat paycheck.
Just have to look at the times he tried to force a move out from us to see that, and fair fucks to him.
