Alexis' Sexy Hamstring

Posted by GOAT over 7 years ago · 8 replies

Alejandro, oh Alejandro.

First it was 6-8 weeks out with a calf muscle tear, few hours later it was four.

Then scans revealed he had a 'low-grade' hamstring strain/tear.

Usually takes a fortnight (I can see why you put 2 weeks, Ix), but this is Alexis.

Arsenal wanted him back in London, but Chile blocked the move.

Now a (stubborn and) less than half-fit Sanchez wants to play vs Uruguay.

Face palm.

We can all hope that he starts on the bench, comes on in injury time with Chile leading 2-0, and gets on that plane fit to be starting at Old Trafford.

Last thing I want is Edison Cavani making sure Alexis will be out for months (and vs PSG).

Starting for Chile tonight with a muscle tear.

He damages it further tonight and is out for 2/3 months we can wave this season goodbye.
