Are you alright, TopTopQuality? Was that Özil performance good enough?

I missed the first 40 mins, so can't judge well. But looking at replays I'd say there wasn't anything spectacular about what he did.

If Ox did that, there'd be no standing ovations, but if it's Ozil, then he's a world class genius. That really shows how some people are clutching for straws to praise Ozil at any opportunity, deluding themselves, in total denial that Ozil has been a flop.

Besides, against that shit Manure defense it's hardly an achievement.

Sanchez's finishing was spectacular though. And that chance he created for Ramsey was sublime.

Bahaha, there probably would be standing ovations if Ox did what Ozil did. But he didn't. If his cheeky dink alone at the end went in I would've been going nuts.

Great performance from the lads, 10/10 would watch again.

Personally loved this

Repent for your sins IX !!!

That performance was fantastic from first to last minute. We blitzkrieg them, got the advantage we wanted, and then let them too try brake us with deep defending and hitting them on counter. Fluid in attack, fast passing fast advance in space, with solid organized defence. And for once things didnt went against us.

Whole team was great, but must give special recognition to Nacho, for all the critics for all the hate in the last 2 years, that guy has been magnificent on the left side. Gibbs ain't bad, but Nacho is performing on different level.

Well you'll have to trust the people that did see those 40 minutes then, in which he was absolutely unstoppable on every level.

I really don't get what so impressed you. He scored the kind of goal that 90% of all midfielders, strikers or full backs would've scored. Nothing special.

He made an ordinary cross to Sanchez, that's it. Against a shit defense that left him in acres of space.

If that makes him world class, then you have low standards.

I'm not hating for the sake of hating. I just really don't like how everyone's fawning over his every move, desperately trying to convince themselves that he's the best thing since Bergkamp.

You probably jerk off to the vines of him doing keepy-upys with his chewing gum.

You missed the part where he and Santi ran our entire midfield the whole game. Several crazy passes completely bypassed 4 or 5 players in one sweeping move. United simply could not touch us. Ozil, apart from wrecking United, was involved in all our goals and should've had a couple more assists. Santi was equally phenomenal, I really like the way he loses his marker and advances play.

Well first of all you didn't see the first 40 minutes, so you have no clue what he did in between assists and goals. Secondly, your main complaint about Özil is that he doesn't assist or score enough. Well here he is, assisting and scoring goals...and you claim it's because Man Utd are shit (we made them look shit) and that his participation was ordinary.

You have to make up your mind at some stage. And yes, you are hating for the sake of hating. No matter what Özil does you'll be critical. This is an insane point of view from a supporter perspective. You are actively looking to criticise one of our own players, regardless of whether he's good or not.

Regardless, Özil bossed a good Man Utd side around for 30 minutes or so until we went def-counter. No matter how much you hate Özil there is no argument against what he did. His passes, first touches, reading of the game...it was all brilliant, on another level. You will never understand this, because you have written your opinion in stone on the topic. Nothing can change it.

If we play like the first 35 mins against Man Utd, no1 can stop us. Not even Munich...

We played like that against Munich in terms of intensity but then Ozil missed a penalty, Sanogo missed a decent shot and Szczesny got sent off. So the most important thing for me is taking our chances. Against Munich, if they're in form, we should play like we did Dortmund away. Defend very well but more importantly take our chances because there's no way we won't have at least one. Difference will be weather we take it or not.

I agree with you 100% Yes, but we play at the Emirates. I believe, we should try put them under pressure.
