The almighty 2016-2017 summer transfer window thread

Yarmolenko is starting to talk about Everton being a better fit form him than Barca because he wants to play regularly rather than "take selfies with Messi". Never thought he would even think about leaving, I'd take him in a heartbeat.

Unless he goes to Man Utd, Man City or Chelsea of course, then I'll claim I never really wanted him.

I could see them keeping an open mind to a last Minute Deal on deadline day, but nothing major

With Perez and mustafi, they have 17 non-hg, so unless sanogoal it's sent away, no new transfers from abroad.

So the loan was his choice. I guess he is better off playing football, but i wish he stayed and fight for spot.

It's a hopeless fight for him though. The fact that he was unused in both of the first games despite the absence of Ozil, Iwobi, Giroud, wilshere, Ramsey, and welbeck shows that.

I can't believe that Wenger signed the players that were needed. I genuinely thought that he was going into the season with Holding, Chambers and Bielik as CB options and Giroud, Akpom and Welbeck as CF options. Now with Xhaka, Mustafi and Perez I can see Arsenal winning the league, unless there's a huge injury crisis.

Apparently a respectable Paraguay journo said this deal could happen. Think we're starting to take a Chelsea approach to hoarding talent with Asano & Almiron which is what we should've been doing for ages.

Chelsea have been hoarding crap.

Still making money for that sweet FFP

John Cross is saying Wenger is letting Wilsh go out on loan. Usually I'd be worried, but it's John Cross saying it

...which means it's BS or the source is from elsewhere. John Cross spends his days trying to piece together information from Twitter and /r/Gunners to create clickbait stories for his overlords. He hasn't had a truly exclusive piece since the day he was born, and even then his birth was probably lifted from someone else.

What's all this shit I'm hearing about gnabry to Bayern after a loan to Bremen? Why?

Would be typical Wenger. For once we have actual talent coming through the ranks and he is being overlooked by a manager who seems to struggle knowing the difference between a midfielder and a forward.

Gnabry has 1 year left. If he won't extend there's nothing we can do. Simple as that.

So, in other words, wenger has been totally negligent.

If I were Gnabry, I'd also leave. Was sent to fucking West Brom on loan, of all the places. Didn't get a game. Must have been mortifying for him.

How the fock is Wenger getting rid of genuinely talented players like Campbell and Gnabry but somehow focking Oxlade-Chamberlain is still around? Ox is like a headless chicken. He's got some teckers but his overall contribution is very poor.
