Arsenal legend Kenny Sansom homeless and close to suicide
In a very odd article in The Mirror, former Arsenal player Kenny Sansom (played at Arsenal 1980-1988) talks about his addiction and lets the paper take unfittingly crisp photos of him passed out and drinking in a park. The Mirror, in its ignorant way, then asks a series of frankly inappropriate questions, like "what did you think of Arsenal's FA Cup win?". The answer isn't exactly encouraging:
I was so out of it, I wasn’t interested. I love Arsenal but I didn’t care. At the moment, if I could have two tablets I would take them to die. I don’t want to live. What have I got to live for?
Also, this article keeps banging on about how terrific they are for helping him, when it's a truly exploitative clickbait piece. Just look at the URL they've chosen for maximum SEO: 'kenny-sansom-homeless-suicide-arsenal'. Ridiculous.

Looked like he was back on the straight and narrow a few months ago but he's back to square one. He'll be dead in a couple of years at this rate.

"Kenny Sansom's homeless suicide arsenal" sounds like he's a mass murderer.
