If the leaked away kits are accurate, we're sharing templates with Newcastle

The gold diamond pattern away kit that has been leaked everywhere is the same as on Newcastle's leaked away kit. There are some differences: ours has a little triangle on the collar, and different coloured sleeves. Newcastle also seem to have a V-shaped neck.

if anything I prefer Newcastle's gold colour over the poo yellow we seem to have.

Newcastle gold? It seems pretty silver to me. If anything, ours is the "gold" one

Yeah ok but it's not gold though. It's some kind of diarrhoea-brown/yellow that looks awful when wet. I don't understand this kit at all. The home kit is great this year, away kit is awful.

In those pictures it looks fine, but that is not what it's going to look like after 20 minutes running around chasing a ball. As soon as it gets wet it turns brown.

I don't like the pattern either, it looks like they were struggling to find a fabric that actually looked like gold, so they created that dumb shading to make it look like it's shimmering. It looks like a bad Photoshop job from someone trying to make a kit look golden (which is exactly what it is).

And then they were dumb enough to use the standard crest, which has actual gold colour on it, making the contrast even more apparent. If the purpose of that kit was a nod to the 2002 team, they should have used an actual gold-coloured fabric and not this weird halfway hack job.
