Alexis playing centrally

Posted by TopTopQuality over 7 years ago · 113 replies

Wenger has finally seen the light. Everyone says that Sanchez is playing CF but in reality he's our n10 now. Or you could also say it's a 4-4-2 with Walcott and Sanchez as the 2 strikers.

Sanchez is a creative goal scorer, and he flourishes as such. Walcott isn't creative but he's a pacey goal scorer who makes good runs. And they complement each other very well.

Ozil is now playing deeper or on wings. Nitice how he has ZERO assists as of today. I actually like Ozil playing as more of a number 8.

And it probably means we've seen the last of Giroud. Have nothing against him personally, he seems to be a top bloke. But as a footballer he's not suited to Arsenal. He should probably go somewhere like Juventus, PSG, Atletico or Bayern.

And quite possibly Ozil playing deeper and having so many other central midfielders, means that Ramsey's Arsenal career is nearing its end. And I'm ok with it.

As a CM he's useless - no discipline, always ends up in the box, he thinks he's a striker.

On wings he's better but that's not his best position.

His best position is n10, like he plays for Wales. But he won't get a game in that position at Arsenal.

We have decent backup available in the bench.. Our squad resilience will be tested during next two months, when we will have more games to play and ofcourse many important games...

I explained my views about ozil in detail. Now that he's no longer the number 10, I actually like him playing deeper and on wings. Because he's no longer hindering Sanchez.

The past month or so proves beyond any doubt that Sanchez is far superior creative attacker compared to Ozil. It's a great shame Sanchez doesn't have a striker partner like RVP in his prime, or Luis Suarez. But even with Walcott he's really showing his class.

What are you on about now, he plays the same position he has always played.

No, now that Sanchez is playing centrally, Ozil is usually somewhere on the wing. And I love it. Ozil has zero assists so far this season. Sanchez has 4 so far

Well, we'll judge 15-20 games into the season. Everyone kept raving about Ozil "pulling the strings" before. He isn't pulling any strings now.

I Don't want him to fail, I just think he's extremely over rated. Cazorla in his first season at Arsenal was way better than Ozil has ever been.

He's a very toothless player, who is bad at scoring, can't shoot from distance and his creativity is too over rated. I dare say, Even Fabregas had more creativity. Ozil is mostly about passing sideways.

And when you have such a player as number 10 and Giroud up front, it makes you so mad you want to kill him.

Sanchez is way, way better as number 10

You cant save a retard. But seriously, without any banter or anything like that, you don't understand football. And I'm not saying this to disrespect you. Read more about the beautiful game and learn about it.

Strictly speaking he still made more sideway passes than forward passes, so I'm right, he's mostly about sideway passing.

But it doesn't matter how many forward passes he made, they were all inconsequential - he still has ZERO assists this season. I'm sure he'll have assists sooner or later, but it shows that he's no longer Arsenal's main creative player.

And bringing up that Opta stat shows your desperation, you're clutching on straws. It used to be "key passes" and "chances created" in previous seasons, even though very few of them resulted in "clear-cut" chances created. Now you're raving about his forward passes. You're just deluding yourselves.

Remember when Leighton Banes had one of the top "key passes" or "chances created", mostly because he was taking all the set pieces for Everton and he was crossing a lot. But most of those "chances created" were half-arsed, didn't result in much. Ozil is similar.

You degenerate he has made more forward passes in front of the opposition box than any other player in the league.

But he still hs ZERO assists in 8 games though.I think this season he'll have 5-7 assists.

Alexis is the main creative player now.
